Properly installed, your
rear attachments/adapters should look as they do
above.
To attach a stirrup type
rear adapter, simply unfasten the adjustment strap,
wrap the rear adapter around the buttstock, slide
the adjustment strap tip through the loop, pull
tight and fasten the hook and loop. You will need to
readjust the tension a few times to remove any
initial slack.
To attach a strap type
rear adapter, simply unfasten the adapter strap and
insert the tip through the upper stock slot from the
off side. Run the tip over the sling. Insert the tip
through the bottom stock slot and secure the strap
with the tri-glide. Finish by doubling the tip back
through the tri-glide. Note in the above image how
the adapter strap is doubled back through the
tri-glide. It’s critical that you do this when
installing the sling. Otherwise, the strap may work
loose. Excess attachment strap material on the rear
adapter can be trimmed with scissors. The cut end
will need to be sealed with a flame source such as a
lighter.
For Tri-glide attachment to existing
side sling loops or swivels your sling main strap
instructions cover how to thread the sling through
your attachment. |
